Mobile Tech Training

Wednesday / 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM / AUD

Mobile Tech 4 Social Change

Mobile technologies are changing the way we communicate, advocate and market to communities. Recent mobile giving campaigns have seen unprecedented fundraising efforts in Haiti and transformational human rights campaigns launched around the world. The potential for impact through mobile technology is now being fully realized. Don’t be left behind.

Mobile Tech 4 Social Change (MT4SC) is a training forum for those of us interested in using mobile tech to change the world. MT4SC has been scaled worldwide, including New York, Washington, Nairobi, London, Halifax, Bangalore and Berlin.

On Wednesday June 9, SiG@MaRS, in collaboration with MobileActive.org, HJC New Media, Toronto Public Health and the Mobile Giving Foundation, will be hosting Ontario’s first MT4SC Toronto as part of Net Change Week 2010.

MT4SC-Toronto is a one-day training event that will inform, teach and inspire the Canadian community sector about mobile’s capacity to achieve social change goals.
